It had a beautiful and lovely location just off river and lagoon and the water slides and playground. My room was neat and featured amazing view of the sunset.

Budget property with easygoing staff and amazing location on the waters edge. Quiet room, clean bathroom. Location very close to the soccer and cricket fields, the market, and a great park.

We had a wonderful stay for two nights.

Our cabin was budget for the children to enjoy. Climate control, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a microwave were appreciated. The location was fantastic - short way from everywhere we wanted to go.

The hotel was a suitable place for enjoying a central area, near to the soccer and cricket fields as well as new water slides. The location was quiet - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, situated right on the stunning Murray river. We enjoyed fishing and exploring the walking trails along the river, surrounded by beautiful trees and lush picnic areas. The service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely helpful and friendly. They even offered a convenient grocery shopping service, making our stay even more convenient.

This hotel is highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Booked a Cabin for Myself and my sister, and arrived to find only one bed made up, when I inquired about this was handed a bag of linnen to make up my own bed. It was a very cold night, and when we turned on the heater, found it to be so noisy that we could not have a conversation over the racket. So sat with rugs around us to keep warm.

Golden River is close to our sporting facilities as we travel 8x during the year and have always stayed at Golden River. Staff are friendly, ample parking for Car & Trailer- great family facilities on site eg pool & bbq area- breat pancakes on Sunday mornings.

Good location & Facilities

A true paradise for kids and a relaxing retreat for adults. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly helpful in finding a suitable site for our trailer. The park is surrounded by beautiful trees and offers lush grassy areas for picnicking and sunbathing. The en-suite powered sites provided privacy and were clean, with amenities like toilet paper and soap. The laundry facility was well-maintained, and the washing machines and dryers were in perfect working order. The camp kitchen had all the necessary appliances and even provided detergent and tea towels. The kids were thrilled with the jumping pillow, playground, pool, water slides, and indoor playground. Every area of the park was spotlessly clean, including the toilets near the water slides. We also appreciated the convenience of ordering fresh bread for the next day. The noise restriction policy ensured a peaceful night's sleep. We were so impressed that we have already booked our stay for next year. highly recommended.

I felt the cabin was excellent and lent itsself to a relaxing time. The park is exceptionally well designed and caters for all ages and possible requirements for holiday makers.

The only issue I had was that the charge for the cabin was processed on my credit card long before we even arrived, unknown to me. I did read one of the conditions was that it may occur but given it didn't happen immediately i asssumed it would occur at check out. We stayed at three other venues during this trip and at all others the account was settled on check out, as is the case with almost all hotels, everywhere. This would probably make me think twice about booking here again, especially a long way in advance, as the cancellation policy is prohibitive, given most people don't cancel holidays unless there is some major disruption in their life. I would recommend the place with that reservation.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location is perfect, as it's a stone's throw away from the river and just across the river from the park! The facilities were fantastic - the BBQ on the veranda of our lovely and clean cabin was very handy. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We also loved the fact that the hotel is close to the Murray river, making for some beautiful morning walks.

Everything was well-maintained, very pleasant stuff, absolutely gorgeous views of the sunset. We booked a superior cabin, it was cheap. A fully furnished kitchen was a big plus.

The location of the Holiday park was convenient to the town and situated in a quiet environment. I enjoyed the birdlife and the privacy of the accomodation. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable.

The setup and decor of the room was very tasteful except for the awful amateurish painting over the double bed.

Excellent location by the river. Clean and spacious 3 bedroom cabin. New and fresh linen and towels. Peaceful and restful sleep. Great for families with young children. Well-maintained facilities, including pool and playground. Easy access to entertainment options. Friendly and helpful staff

I was not much conserned with the park as such, I went becase I was invited by 4 friends who were also going, it is a nice park, and would recomend it if asked

we were in S1 and the front flyscreen had no lock on it, it would be good if you were to update it to a security screen so you could lock it and have the door open.that is my only comment, and I hope it is considered constructive.
